She was predeceased by: her parents, George Leys and Mary Leys (Hutnik); and her son John Pientka. She is survived by: her husband Vincent; and her children, George Pientka (Dorothy Mayek), Joe Pientka (Bonnie Schroeder), Andy Pientka (Brenda Bricco), Theresa Pliska (Tom), Anna Kochanowski (Boleslaw), Tom Pientka, Carol Bernas (Bob), Loretta Czaikowski (Peter), Jeannie Pientka and Sara Pientka. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial in Ruth's name will be established at a later date.
