He was predeceased by: his parents, William Herz and Freida Herz (Frederickson); and his son William John "BJ" Herz. He is survived by: his wife Delores Herz; his daughters, Susan Kramer (James), Billie Herz (Sean Mudgett) and Lanaye Deverell (David); his grandchildren, Chantel Garski, Chayna Rodriguez (Celso), Tiara Schouten (Troy), Robert Dulske, Melissa Lammers (Dan), Amanda Sage (Tommy), Katrina Kramer and Brenda Plantz (Tony); and his great-grandkids, Addison, Arthur, Kaydence, Savanna, Jace, Olivia, Sofia, Casey, Sasha, Cora, Xander, Lily and Naomee.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Stephen Catholic Church (1401 Clark St, Stevens Point, WI 54481). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
