William J. Horvath Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William J. Horvath of Stevens Point, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 22, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Horvath and Helen Horvath (Schindler); and his brother Donald Horvath. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Horvath; his children, Timothy and Kimberly (Matthew); his siblings, Joanne Johnson, Judy Nieves and James Horvath; and his grandchildren, Alina, Sarah, Robert and Natalie. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (1410 Rogers St, Stevens Point, WI 54481). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.

Bill was active on many boards and committees, among them was the UWSP Alumni Association and the UWSP Foundation.
