She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Manders and Grace Manders (Spears); her parents-in-law, Myrtle and Lawrence Halvorson; her siblings, Francis Hoff (Clarence), Dorothy Wedwick (Clinton) and William Manders (Audrey); her nieces, Lori Hoyum, Brittany and Shelby Herold; her nephew William Manders Jr.; and her brothers-in-law, Mark Halvorson, Denward Goede, Donald Foster, James Olson and William Martell.
She is survived by: her husband Eugene Halvorson (Gene); her daughters, Marla Hellmann (Mark) and Kristin Halvorson; her granddaughter Kate Higgins; and her siblings-in-law, Lincoln Halvorson (Eileen), David Halvorson (Bea), Marlene Goede, Adele Foster, Nell Martell and Rhonda Herold (Eugene). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lower Coon Valley Lutheran Church (S1801 N Stoddard Rd, Stoddard, WI 54658). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking donations to be made to the Lower Coon Valley Church.
