He was predeceased by : his mother Lori Geitner (Ferron); and his grandparents, Clarence and Helen Geitner. He is survived by : his father David Sr. Geitner (Penny); his wife Samantha Nealey; his sister Kendra Geitner; his stepsiblings, Emma Geitner and Joe Davis; his in-laws, Brice and Cindy Nealey; his sister-in-law Bambi Williamson (Brent); his niece Ava "Beans" Williamson; his nephew Vinny Williamson; his grandmother Mary Ferron; his grandfathers-in-law, Marion Walker and Darlene Linsmeyer; his close friends, Cory Furst, Chris, Ashley Huggett, Melissa, Donovan Nickel, Sandy Sternitzky and Bridget Johnston; his friends, Candies and Stoughton Trailers; and also, Avery, Alex, Daniel, Nora and Sarge. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives.

In lieu of flowers, a donation made to the Brown County Humane Society Society (Wisconsin Humane Society - Green Bay Campus) in memory of David Geitner Jr. would be appreciated by the family.
