He was predeceased by: his parents, Davis Pernot and Elvera Pernot (Klitzke); his son Randy; his grandson Danny Briggs; his siblings, Keith, Darus, Lyman, Phillip, Donald, Dale and Diane Kjellstrom; and his brother-in-law Richard Behnke.
He is survived by: his children, Nancy Lapp (Jason) and Ronnie Pernot; his granddaughter Ashley Briggs; his great grandchild Fiona Johnson; his siblings, Mardelle Behnke, Bette Kull (Dan) and Dean Pernot (Shirley); and his sisters-in-law, Dolly Pernot and Audrey Pernot. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
