He is survived by: his daughters, Amber Sime (Bryce) and Amanda McNeely (Jamison); his close friend Catherine Knuteson; his siblings, Thomas Veum, Mary Pugh (Dwight), Christine Ring (Duane), Jean Nordlie, Ann Veum and Kenny Veum (Cindy); and his grandchildren, Avery, Adalyn, Ellis, Bowen and Chet. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
