He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Mockrud and Nora Mockrud (Noringseth); his wife Dolores; and his sisters, Nola Lindsay, Nancy Field, Sally Parks and Kathryn Mockrud.

He is survived by: his daughters, Vicki Frisch, Jean Widener and Joan Mockrud; his stepdaughter Diana Ewoldt (Joseph); and his siblings, Annette Carlson, Karen Manion, Mary Pierce and Roald Mockrud.
