It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marilyn Cecelia Bersing of Stoughton, Wisconsin, who passed away on January 29, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Counter and Hazel Counter (Baker); her husband Vernon Bersing; and her siblings, Bill, John, Maxine, Geri and Kass.

She is survived by: her children, Karen Burmeister (Curt), Sandra Quam (Wayne), Gina Nordness (Rob), Steven Bersing (Randi) and David Bersing; her brother Ken Counter (Barb); and her siblings-in-law, Carol Counter and Harris Bersing. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to St. Ann Catholic Church, Agrace HospiceCare or to Skaalen Retirement Services as a donation for a transport van.
