He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas Maragos and Marika Maragos (Kaldrimedes); his wife Betty Lou Maragos (Hess); and his daughters, Phyllis Maragos and Marie Claire Maragos.
He is survived by: his siblings, Ernest Maragos (Mary), Thomas Maragos (Sophie), Peter Maragos (Pauline) and Joy Humrickhouse (Ralph); his son Chris (Johnna Maragos) of Stoughton, WI; his grandchildren, Carl (Abigail Maragos), Helen Maragos and Tom (Madison Maragos); his niece Dena Giallanza; and his nephews, Joe and Paul Bourgeau.
