She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Kimbrell and Ethel Kimbrell (Moore); her husband Curtis W. Shaffer; and her siblings, Mary Ciprian (Joe), William "Bill" Kimbrell and Ethel Herried (Harold).
She is survived by: her children, Jill Shaffer, Jack Shaffer (Pam) and Jeff Shaffer (Marcia); her grandchildren, Taylor Shaffer (Jordan Langer), Justin "Bubba" Shaffer (Carissa), Carrie Glick (David) and Luke Shaffer; her stepgranddaughters, Hannah Wood and Cara Wood; and her great grandchildren, Charlotte Shaffer, Betsy and Eve Glick. She is also survived by nieces and other relatives and friends.
