He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Brickson and Naomi Brickson (Stenseth); and his grandson Coy Kalagian-Brickson. He is survived by: his wife Joanne "Cookie" (Koch); his children, Kathy Bliss (Steve), Bryan Brickson and Karl Brickson (Heidi); his grandchildren, Jenny Johnson (Nick), Kelly Baylor, Kole Brickson and Staci Amundson (Adam); his sister Marilyn Burrington; and his close friend Terry Fountain. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, Rod's family requests donations be made to Covenant Lutheran Church or The Stoughton Food Pantry.
