He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon B. Barrett and Dorothy J. Barrett (Larson); his mother-in-law Mary Lou Bartleson (Moe); and his brothers-in-law, Erik Bartleson and Harold Shriver.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Eliana Reyes Barrett, Marjorie, Clara Ellefsen, Emily, Madelyn and Alastair Barrett; his wife Laurie Barrett (Bartleson); his siblings, Sharon Shriver, Linda Havlik, Greg Barrett (Edith) and Debi Jones (Russ); his father-in-law Warner Bartleson (Sara); his sisters-in-law, Beth Zarian (Larry) and Amy Balcam (Drew); his children, Erin Barrett Ellefsen (Eric) and Christopher Barrett (Rachael); and his friend Dan McInerney. He is also survived by his grandchildren; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
