He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Polege and Clara Polege (Helms); and his siblings, Ruth and Edward. He is survived by: his wife Judy; his children, Susan (Greg Heide), Karen and Paul (Melinda); his granddaughters, Aleah, Brynnlea and Kyrielle Polege; and his sister Helen Schmidt (Mahlon).
Visitation was held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church (213501 Legacy St, Stratford, WI 54484).
Memorials may be given to Zion Lutheran Church.
