She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Zakrzewicz and Marie Zakrzewicz Trushinski (Johnson); her siblings, Debbie Behringer and Randy Zakrzewicz; and her significant other Gerald Bryson.
She is survived by: her sons, William Shanks Jr. (Karen) of Wausau, WI, Edward Shanks (Cherada) of Stratford, WI and Randy Englebretson of Stratford, WI; her siblings, Kim Truchinski of Wausau, WI and Tammy Zoellner (Scott) of Loyal, WI; and her sister-in-law Kitty Zakrzewicz. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
