With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Timothy F. Laessig of Stratford, Wisconsin, who passed away on December 5, 2025 at the age of 85. He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Laessig and Jennie Laessig (Kohl); his wife Joan Kupfer; his siblings, Joan, Jerry, Neil, Arnie, Larry, Margaret Nelson and Phyllis Doll; and his brothers-in-law, Bill Pai, Maynard Doll, Keith Pangborn, Jerry Pretsch, Tom Lafleur and Norbert Lee.
He is survived by: his daughters, Tina Hoefs of Stratford, Tammy Strebe (Travis) of Marshfield, Tracy O'Brien (Mike) of Chili and Tanya Sly (Jeff) of Chippewa Falls; his grandchildren, Tim, Joey, Randy, Brian Hoefs, Cassandra, Skylar Strebe, Shawna Tinder, Siara O'Brien and Brooke Sly; and his siblings, Joyce Pai, Sylvia Pangborn, Caroline Pretsch, Barbara Lafleur, Marty Laessig, Janice Lee and Steve Laessig (Norene). He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Sauter/Rembs Funeral Home (211910 WI-97, Stratford, WI 54484). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
