Howard L. Hanson Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Hanson and Perscilla Hanson (Goss); his siblings, Beverly, Dennis (Ellen Halverson), Aaron Halverson and Lu Hanson; and his parents-in-law, Bert and Alma Halverson.
He is survived by: his wife Ramona; his children, Wayne Hanson (Nancy), Darrel Hanson (Kristine), Dawn Pederson (Steve), Rebecca Gerke (Thomas), Linda Leirmo (Jeffery) and Glen Hanson (Wendy); his siblings, Lamoine Hanson, Richard Hanson (Cindy) and Marcella Larson (Dennis); his brother-in-law Dan Halverson (Pat); and his uncle Darrel Goss. He is also survived by his nineteen grandchildren, one step-grandchild, and 31 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made in Howard's name to one of the following organizations: Immanuel Lutheran Church, Strum; Jamie and Lisa Halverson Mission Fund; Wartburg Theological Seminary, Dubuque, IA; Operation Smile, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, or the Eleva-Strum Scholarship Fund.
