He was predeceased by: his wife Bonita "Charlotte"; his parents, Ingwald Myhers and Ruth Myhers; his parents-in-law, Marvin and Florence Fossum; his brothers-in-law, Reverend Larry Hendrickson, John Harsh, Ken Steube and Roger Larson; and his son-in-law David Kunes.
He is survived by: his daughter Dr. Bonnie Myhers (Dan Kantos); his grandson Matthew Kunes; his great grandchildren, Carmen and Kyli; his sisters, Kay Hendrickson-Harsh and Cherry Larson (Ron Hoeppner); his siblings-in-law, Marvin "John" Fossum (Julie Nollenberg) and Dianne Fossum; his nieces, Beth Peterson (Mike) and Sonja Linman (Whitney); and his godsons, Arick Hendrickson (Anne), Mark Larson (Becky), John "Casey" Fossum (Jeni) and Andrew "Joe" Fossum (Krystal). He is also survived by 12 great nieces and nephews and one great-great niece, along with multiple cousins and friends.
Any memorials may be directed to Immanuel Lutheran Church of Strum's Organ Refurbishing Fund, or Eleva-Strum Lions of which they were both members.
