She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald DeFere and Jeanette DeFere (Laubenstein); her brother Dony DeFere; and her brothers-in-law, Duke Dusendschon and Ed Jones.
She is survived by: her son Jeremy (Laurie) of Green Bay; her grandchildren, Brooke, Brianne and Desiree Knaapen (Jimmy) of Sturgeon Bay; her great grandchildren, Mercedes, Azailya and Keenan; her sister Diane Jones of Sturgeon Bay; her pets, Snickers, Mia and Oli; Robert "Bob" Bakalar of Sturgeon Bay. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her memory to St. Peter's Ev. Lutheran Church.
