She was predeceased by: her parents, Murray James Augustine and Olga Augustine (Heisel); her siblings, Angeline Percente (Joe), Raymond Augustine, Adeline Brown (Howard), Marion Young (Woody), Vernon Augustine, Irene Schlichting (Ralph) and Mary Mintner (Alan); her brother-in-law Larry Dietrich; her parents-in-law, Francis and Clara Forest; and her husband Bill.
She is survived by: her friend William "Bill" Francis Forest; her children, Anna O'Neill (Patrick) of Terre Haute, IN, Frank Forest (Agatha) of Chicago, IL, William Forest (Charlotte) and Brian Forest (Sarah DeNamur); her grandchildren, Erin Srinivasaraghavan (Vishnu), Sean O'Neill, Shane O'Neill (Myla Qi), Marius Forest, Macrina Forest, Gavin Forest (Makayla Ash), Gillian Forest and Charlie Basch; her great grandchild Hari Srinivasaraghavan; her siblings, Kathleen Dietrich of Plover, WI and Harold Augustine (Dang) of Beaver Falls, PA; and her sister-in-law Carol Augustine.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:40 AM at the Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church - Institute (4767 Dunn Rd, Sturgeon Bay, WI 54235). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
The support Betty and her siblings received from the Salvation Army growing up allowed them to have presents underneath the Christmas tree, and so memorials may be given in (Betty's) name for the Salvation Army Door County Service Extension (P.O. Box 644, Sturgeon Bay, WI 54235).
