He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon J. Olson and Lucille Olson (Knutson); his spouse Jendean Hegg; his parents-in-law, John O. and Norma Hegg; his siblings, Bill Olson and Barbara Aspel (Thomas); and his niece Katy Aspel.
He is survived by: his children, Andrew Olson, Angela Olson-Luberger (Chad) and Aaron Olson (Sarah); his grandchildren, Anika, Audrey, Aria, Anders, Elsa and Stanley; his siblings-in-law, Ilene Pavelko (Ray) and John Hegg (Mary); and his pet Halvor. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In-lieu, of flowers, memorials may be given to Lutheran World Relief or Ephraim Moravian Church.
