She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Fleig and Helene Fleig (Kekstadt); her husband Karl May; her sons, David and Patrick; and her brothers, Jim Fleig (Marlene) and Tom Fleig.
She is survived by: her children, Tia May (Scott Bellisle) and Erik May (Shawn); her grandchildren, Drew Kramer (Sarah Trancik), Derek Kramer, Sophia May and Brody May; her great grandchildren, Iris Kramer, Jordan Kramer and Hailey Kramer; her sisters, Barbara Heiskala and Irene Beyer (Bob); her good buddy Candy Colombo; and her friend Rita Sharp (Hjalmer "Jerry" Mayala). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM and on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A prayer was held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 6:30 PM at the Forbes Funeral Home (319 W Spruce St, Sturgeon Bay, WI 54235). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church (4767 E Dunn Rd, Sturgeon Bay, WI 54235).
