He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Anton Emmerich and Anna Elisabeth Emmerich (Butt); and his siblings, Alex, Walton, James, Reinhold, Grace, Evelyn and Marie.
He is survived by: his children, Ann Emmerich (Steve Ofenbeck), Kay Scott (Kurt) of Peshtigo, Margaret "Peggy" Haddle of New Smyrna Beach, FL and Joel Emmerich (Carri) of Green Bay; his son-in-law Lewis Haddle; his grandchildren, Nancy Scibelli-Bouthilet (Alex), Neal Scibelli (Erin), Andrew "Drew" Scott (Sarah), Matthew Scott, Alison Scott of Kenneth, Christina Lindauer (Jesse) and Daniel Emmerich; his great grandchildren, Felix, Luc, Carmen, Theodore, Abraham, Noah, Quinn, Charlotte, Jason, Samuel, Abigail and Landon; his brothers-in-law, Bernard Alberg and David Jones; and his wife Margaret.
