He is survived by: his wife Marilyn; his son Troy Kleist (Wendy); his grandsons, Samuel J. and Emmett A. Kleist; his sisters, Geraldine Kunkel, Marlene Klimek and Barbara Kleist; and his siblings-in-law, Jean Krueger, Arlene Domagola, Derwin Heil (Jackie), Kathy Corbin (Hugh) and Charles Benn. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
