He was predeceased by: his parents, John F. Rackow and Mathilda T. Rackow (Vogel); his in-laws, Ron and Mary Sharkey; and his brothers-in-law, Bill Schumacher Sr. and Don Sharkey.
He is survived by: his wife Karen M. Sharkey; his daughter Melissa Kugel (Steve); his grandchildren, Nicole Paschke (Dave), Kiala Kugel and Garrett Kugel; his great grandchildren, Brynlee and Braelyn Paschke; his sister Barbara Schumacher (William, family: Green Bay); and his brother-in-law Dale Sharkey (Nancy). He is also survived by family, Peshtigo, WI; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
