He is survived by: his siblings, Kathy Nieleck (Hans), Michael Nelson (Karen) and Mary Hurley; his friend David; and his siblings' children, Oliver Nieleck (Melli), Jenny Buchholz (Robert), Johannes Nieleck (Ramona), Maria Nieleck (Ferdinand), Chris Nelson (Stacy), Tim Nelson (Jen), Shane Hurley and Kevin Hurley (Aya).
