She was predeceased by : her parents, Walter Haertel and Marie Haertel (Peggy); her husband Harvey Swagel; her sister Janice Haertel (Jan); her cousin Laurel; and her grandson Tom Espe.
She is survived by : her children, Greg Swagel (Sandy), Cindy Swagel, Pam Haskins (Swagel), Becky Harris (Abram) and Shayne Swagel (Senta); her grandchildren, Tanya Hansen (Brian), Ty Swagel (Brandon), Justin Welch (Nick), Nikki Voight (Leon II), Jessica Bardazon (TJ), Angela Oram (Coop), Cody Oram (Kristy), Kyle Harris, Kim Jacobson (Greg), Jill Degrave (Kurt) and Jeff Espe (Val); her sisters-in-law, Delores and Gracie Swagel; her cousins, Gary and John Fischer; and her friend Mary Tollkuehn.
