She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Rappe and Martha Rappe (Muecher); her husband Roy John Stewart; her stepdaughter Karen Kehlenbrink; her siblings, Rosemary, Nancy, Ruth, Edward and Fred; and her son-in-law Denny McCarver.

She is survived by: her daughter Peggy McCarver of Phoenix, AZ. She is also survived by grandchildren; many, many precious great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the St. Peter's Ev. Lutheran Church (108 W Maple St, Sturgeon Bay, WI 54235). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Stambaugh Cemetery.
