He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Barnard and Emma Barnard (Crow); his wife Jeanne; his parents-in-law, Howard and Miriam Erickson; his siblings, Margaret Hamilton, Douglas Barnard and David Barnard; his brother-in-law Tony Haen; his niece Elizabeth Barnard; and his nephews, Baby Jonathon, Kevin Barnard and Tyrone Packett.
He is survived by: his children, Ann Birnschein (Bryan) and Andrew Barnard (Becky); his grandson Rachata Birnschein (Dorca); his siblings, William Barnard (Jeanne), James Barnard, Thomas Barnard (Branch), Kathy Zimmerman (Bob), Carl Barnard (Christine) and Mariellen Haen; and his siblings-in-law, David Hamilton, Sylvia Carpenter, Liz Dickson (Bob), Michele Packett (John), MyChi Erickson and Soledad Erickson (Matthew Mikkelsen). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Robert's name to the Sturgeon Bay United Methodist Church, Henry S. Baird #174 Masonic Lodge, or the Sturgeon Bay Boy Scout troop.
