He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Knab and Florence Knab; his wife Ann Knab; his close friend Pam Marsh; and his sister Elizabeth Piccoli.
He is survived by: his children, Barbara McKenzie of Evanston, IL and Tom (Nancy) of Marana, AZ; his grandchildren, Katherine Schneider (Ted) of Bronx, NY, Christina Teichroew (Jacob) of Bronx, NY and Henry Fordney (Leah) of Evanston, IL; his great grandchildren, Jonah, Avi, Winston and Rosalind; and his nieces, Mary Louise Hatten of Weston, MA and Roberta Piccoli of Brooklyn, NY..
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in Tom's memory to Cardinal Ridge Residential Care, Sturgeon Bay, WI and Unity Hospice and Palliative Care, Green Bay, WI.
