He was predeceased by: his parents, Eben Roy Hanson, Sr. and Loretta Elizabeth Hanson (Grovogel); his sons-in-law, Lee Peterson of Thomas, Johnson and Charles "Chuck" Sternard; his grandson-in-law Curtis Lustila; his siblings, Jean, Carol Nelson (Joseph), Larry Hanson, Eben Hanson, Jr. (June), Margaret Kuehn (Carlton), Robert Hanson, James Hanson (Rose), Helen Abrahamson (James), Donald Hanson (Judy) and Florence Melichar (Donald); his parents-in-law, Arthur and Frieda Reimer; and his brothers-in-law, Douglas Reimer (Danica), Donald Reimer (Janet) and Clyde Pluff.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia; his children, Christine Peterson of Sturgeon Bay, Valerie Johnson of Allouez, Philip Hanson (Beth) of Brussels, Marla Lustila (Jeff) of Sturgeon Bay and Amy Gauger (Jeff) of Mequon; his grandchildren, Shanna Peterson (Jordan Elenz), Allison DeCosse (Matt), Nicole Socha (Evan), Bailey Hanson, Melanie Boyd (Jacob), Chad Sternard (Cynthia), Kyle Sternard (Stephanie), Mark Lustila (Caitlyn), Katelyn and Emily Gauger; his great grandchildren, Adeline, Kinsley, Julius, Eleanor DeCosse, Israel, Amelia Boyd, Charles, Claire Sternard, Austin, Peyton Sternard, Bailee (Noah) and Quinton Lustila; and his sisters-in-law, Agnes Hanson of Elkhorn, Florence Hanson of Plymouth and Jane Pluff of Baileys Harbor. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; other relatives; and friends.
