He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbert Nicklas and Lillian Nicklas (LeFevre); his in-laws, Edwin and Lois Drath; his siblings-in-law, Carol Nicklas and Lance Ruechel; and his cousin Dave Nicklas.
He is survived by: his wife Pamela; his children, Dawn Nicklas and Derek Nicklas; his grandson Geoffrey Nicklas; his siblings, Wade Nicklas (Kaye), Susan DePuy (Bob) and Chris Nicklas; and his sister-in-law Denise Brefczynski (Mark). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other loved ones, and friends.
