She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Bal and Bessie Bal (Smith); and her sister Dorothy Vroman. She is survived by: her children, Cindy Anderson (Gary), Mike Olp (Carol), Pat Farnsworth and Steve Olp (Patti); her grandchildren, Jenny Raby (Zach), Jessica Anderson, Katie Murphy (Luke), Alex Olp (Madison), Matthew Olp, Andrew Koltz, Martin Koltz (Liz), Holly Knapp (Tom) and Nick Olp (Jocasta); and her great grandchildren, Samantha Raby, Aspen Raby, Maya Raby, Amelia Murphy, Brock Murphy, Violet Olp, James Koltz, Anna Koltz, Pippa Olp and Marisol Knapp.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Barbara's name to Olbrich Botanical Gardens or Messiah Lutheran Church.
