He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Benson and Sharon Benson (Ashard); and his brother James. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Reis; and his siblings, William "Bill" Benson (Remick) and Susan Benson (Dean Olson). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
