She was predeceased by: her parents, Werner Bernards and Christine Bernards (Uebersetzig); her husband Ray Stangler; her son Tim Dobson; and her siblings, Paul Bernards, Bonnie Meyer, Joyce Dobson, Thomas Bernards and Pauline Bernards.

She is survived by: her daughter Lynn Stangler; her grandchildren, Kiley Wagner (Ryan) and Casey Jesberger (Mollie); her great grandchildren, Levi Wagner, Briley Wagner, Greydon Wagner, Rogan Wagner, Carson Jesberger and Selah Jesberger; her sister Jenne Weichmann (Bob); and her pet Auggie. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and in-laws.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society or the Alzheimers Association.
