Diane Vandervest Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Diane Vandervest (Sun Prairie, Wisconsin), who passed away on June 30, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Walter Richard Vandervest; her parents, Alois and Florence; her daughter Michele Vandervest; her sisters, Irma Quamme and Verna Bedner; her brothers-in-law, Wayne Kocinski, Gene Quamme and John Bedner; and her nephew Kevin Castro.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lisa, Laura and Mary Hartmann (Jim); her grandchildren, Kassidy Hill, AlexAndrea Mears (Josh), Barrett Hartmann (Dulci), Sydney Derenne (Nate) and Coleton Vandervest; her great grandchildren, Brooks Richard, Halley Rose Derenne and Mears; her siblings, John Weber (Ellen), Karen Castro (Ed), Janice Kocinski, Larry Weber and Rodney Weber (Diane); Dean Wightman. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to SSM St. Mary's Hospital, Madison, in support of the School of Nursing Alumni Scholarship Endowment.
