He was predeceased by: his parents, Worthing Barr and Hilda Barr (Lahn); his spouse Lennice Frome; his siblings, Delores Thompson and Howard Barr; and his granddaughter Andi Peterson.
He is survived by: his children, Rob (Kathy) of Milwaukee, Vicki Peterson (Jim) of Saukville, Sandy Hundt (Bob) of Sun Prairie and Lori Govier (Rick) of Janesville; his grandchildren, Mike Peterson (Melissa), Sara Barr (Mike Norkus), Patrick Barr (Mandie), Cory Hundt (Angie), Ryan Govier (Megan), Austin Hundt, Gavin Hundt (Dani) and Nathan Govier; his great grandchildren, Katie Ferguson, Taylor, Kayden Norku, Miles, Stella Barr, Isaiah Hundt and Nora Govier; and his brother Kenneth Barr (Sena). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church (300 Broadway Dr, Sun Prairie, WI 53590). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
