He is survived by: his mother Betty of Mendota, IL; his daughter Jennifer Soy (Ryan); his granddaughters, Ashlyn, Aubrey and Avery of Olathe, KS; his son B. J. Wagner (Merissa); his granddaughter Kendall (Pauline Krebs) of Bennington, NE; and his siblings, Connie Meade (Tom) of Bossier City, LA and Kent Wagner (Janel) of Phoenix, AZ. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
