With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Loretta Jean Skewes in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, who passed away on May 4, 2026 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon Rosequist-Swanson and Gladys Swanson; her husband Chuck Skewes; her grandson Wesley Skewes; her daughter-in-law Kris Skewes; and her brothers, Loren Swanson and Ronnie Swanson.
She is survived by: her children, Michael, Clint, Jane Algiers, William and Sarah Ringgenberg; her children-in-law, Jean (Frederick), Denise (Thoma), Tim Algiers and Mark Ringgenberg; her grandchildren, Jesse, Alissa Soeth (Skewes), Abby, Kelly, Heidi, Jonathan, Samuel and Micah Ives; her grandsons-in-law, Nathan Soeth, Jake Borth, Jake Boebel and Joshua Grossman; her great grandchildren, Kameron Soeth, Luca Borth and Isla Borth; her niece Barbara Kivisto; and her nephews, Jeff Swanson and Steven Swanson.
