He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Poole and Janice Poole; and his brothers, Stacy and Wade. He is survived by: his wife Carol Poole (Wickhem); his daughter Stacy Compty; his son-in-law Ryan Compty; his granddaughters, Finley Lynn and Hazel Ryan; and his brothers, Craig (Marianne) and Kevin (Jon). He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that memorials be made in Lynn's honor to the Badger Honor Flight.
