He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Highsmith and Doris Highsmith (Bowsher); his brother-in-law Steve Hudson; and his grandson Christopher. He is survived by: his wife Karen; his siblings, Ronald Highsmith (Ellen) and Judy Pigoni-Grant; his children, Bettina Elwood, Katrina Kloth (Ed Pifer), Robin Highsmith, Matthew Coutts (Kristen) and Andrya Coutts (Erik Olsen); his grandchildren, Amber, Randy, Trinity, Lilly, Cosette, Jorja and Jameson; and his great grandchild Mya.
