He is survived by: his wife Joan Borchardt; his children, Connie Sobczak (David) and Tony Helmke (Mara); his grandchildren, Nicole Starrs (Matthew), Kelli Grossman (Cale), Matt Sobczak, Audrey and Declan Helmke; his great grandchildren, Jack, Johnny, Jimmy Starrs, Cayson and Carter Grossman; his sister Janice Culbertson (John); and his sister-in-law Bea Helmke. He is also survived by many relatives and friends.
