Sandra leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Sandra’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Sandra will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Voelker and Myrtle Voelker; her sister Barb Stoffels; and her close friend Cheryl Gherke. She is survived by: her husband Marlin Vernig; her children, Bob (Jenn), Sherri Boebel (Jerry) and Julie Vernig (Matt); and her brother Ron Voelker (Cookie). She is also survived by five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Cress Funeral & Cremation Service - Sun Prairie (1310 Emerald Terrace, Sun Prairie, WI 53590). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
