She was predeceased by: her parents, Hartman Midthun and Ruth Midthun (Gottschalk); her husband James K. Halverson; her son Jonathan; and her sister Judith.
She is survived by: her children, Jodi Halverson (David Alme), Jeffrey Halverson, Julie Matson (Jim Wedel), Joel (Jackie), Jennifer Hanson (Todd) and Jay (Brenda); her daughter-in-law Rachael (Jeff Smith); and her sisters, Joyce Nett and Kay Burns (Mike). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
