He is survived by: his wife Donna Klein (Bender); his children, Debbie Mork (Roger), David Klein (Diane) and Karen Gilbert (Stuart); his grandchildren, Kim Timler (David), Dan Gilbert (Holly), Joe Gilbert (Lindsey), Cale Klein (Alycia), Matt Gilbert (Stacey) and Chelsey Clark (Trevor); his great grandchildren, Dan, Amerie, Jazlyn, Teaghen, Damon, Cayden, Carson, Randy, Jacey, Jack, Maverick, Cobie, Brooks, Harper and Brady; his great great grandchildren, Atlas, Arlo and Alora; his siblings, Marge, Tom and Bill; Field Chaplain, Donn, Barb Renning and Stan Otis. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Lake Edge Lutheran Church (4032 Monona Dr, Madison, WI 53716). A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Roselawn Memorial Park Chapel (401 Femrite Dr, Monona, WI 53716).
