She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Johnson and Pearl Johnson (Pine); her former husband Harry Blegen; her husband Rolland "Rollie" Piper; her sisters, Eleanore Hann and Janet Jackson; her stepsons, Kenneth and Michael Piper; and her grandchildren, Lacey Chambers and David Piper.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cynthia Johnstone (James) of Superior, Nancy Visger (Dennis) of Minong and Susan Blegen of Superior; her stepdaughters, Linda Ford (Don) of Superior, Nancy Price of Duluth and Cathy Piper of Superior; her grandchildren, Casey Johnstone (Amanda) of Superior, Carrie Thomson (Dan) of Neenah and Brian Visger (Meghan) of Arlington; and her great grandchildren, Chase, Ty, Leo, Nora, Lydia, Rose, Gabe and Grace. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
