She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Madsen and Gale Madsen (Pierson); and her siblings, Jeanne Rae and Roy "Torino" Madsen. She is survived by: her husband Dick; her sons, Chad Nikstad of Superior and Michael Nikstad (Karen) of Superior; her grandchildren, Jeffrey Burhans, Sylvi Nikstad, Adam Burhans, Sarah Nikstad and Alex Nikstad; her siblings, Leslie "Butch" Madsen (Kathy) of Rice Lake, Norm Madsen (Sue) of Cottage Grove, MN, Kay Peters (Jim) of Dowling Lake, WI and RaeAnn Edwards (Mike) of Superior; and her godsons, Ryan, Justin and Matthew. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Summit Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Superior Town Hall (4917 WI-35, Superior, WI 54880).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Town of Summit Volunteer Fire Department.
