It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Brianna Danielle Matthews of Superior, Wisconsin, who passed away on December 7, 2025, at the age of 45, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her gramps Reynold "Bud" Olson; her uncle Chad "Big Dog" Olson; and her grandparents, Ed, Marge Kavanaugh, Walt and Marlene Anderson.
She is survived by: her father Steve Anderson; her daughter Araia Lynn Matthews; her former husband Dann Matthews; her mother Carrie Olson-Anderson; her grandmother Lois Olson; her siblings, Stephanie Drechsler (Trace), Danielle Davis (Ryan) and Jake Anderson (Amber); her aunts and uncles, Connie Olson, Rita Hughes, Brian Olson, Rob Kavanaugh (Teresa, family: Mike Anderson) and Kent Anderson (Kaire); and her cousins, Troy Olson (Amber) and Abby Rautio (Steven). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other family members.
They would also like to thank the staff at Life Source for supporting Brianna's family through the donation process and to Brianna for making the choice to be an organ donor. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Animal Allies in Brianna's name.
