He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Hagen and Inez Hagen; and his siblings, Lois Smith, Lawrence "Buzzy" Hagen, Nancy Baker, Marlene Peterson and Marcia Bliss.

He is survived by: his wife Lois Hagen (Jardine); his daughters, Kari Charles (Ryan) of Aurora, IL, Courtney Arnold (Chris) of Houston, TX and Krista Hagen of Arlington, TX.; his granddaughters, Taylor, Teagan Charles and Jayce Garcia; his siblings, Lillis Murray (Lloyd), Joan Everson (Charles) of Superior, WI and Gene Hagen (Barb) of Menomonie, WI; his siblings-in-law, Lois Hagen and Bob Bliss; his cousin Terry Buxton; and his stepchildren, Jerry Aunet (Valorie), John Aunet (Vickie), Robyn Hurd (Mike) and Lisa Slagle (Wally). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations may be made to Superior Senior High School scholarship fund or to the Superior Elks Club.
