He was predeceased by : his parents, Grace Alger (Pluntz) and Sherman Alger. He is survived by : his wife Virginia; his stepchildren, Ronald Delong (Julia), Robert Delong (Dawn), Leia Scott (Todd) and Andria Melton; and his brothers, Richard Alger (Bondalin) and Arthur Alger. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren and one great great grandson.
